Now we are in Western Australia...

This is my first attempt at "blogging"--all previous entries to this "site" were created by Merivale, so we will see if this works...I am skeptical, so I will keep it simple and see if anything sticks. This is a picture of Gary with Busselton Pier, or Jetty, in the background. Busselton is a beautiful spot that we discovered on our road through the South West Region. It seems so odd to call it the "South West", which I associate with an arid, red, dusty landscape and Spanish colonial remnants, like Santa Fe--but here the South West is greener than green, with gentle views of sheep studded hills, framed by long avenues of tall eucalyptus trees, and glimpses of the ocean beyond the vineyards.
